Ok, so today's workout was pretty good...now for the dramatic part (not really, but hey, it makes it fun!)
So there I was staring that was treadmill down. We have a love/hate relationship. Today I swear it was taunting me. "Where were you yesterday? " I was going to show it...
I am doing my intervals as planned .....and everything was going to good .... until I hit the ten minute mark. I could feel myself breathing way too hard after being at 3.5 for 65 seconds to go back up, so I skipped an interval at my higher speed. Then it happened - the voice in my head (phones) said "ten minutes remaining" AND 'Just Dance' by Gaga came on...and BAM! I was gonna push through it. I was almost sorry when the treadmill slowed down. Amazing what a simple song can do. Anyone else have a "power song"?
